Midterm Composition #2
This is probably my favorite piece of work so far. The background is really weird, which is why I was so drawn to it. The original color is the color of the background, so I had to make sure that the model was practically the same color. The tools used were the magnetic lasso tool, eraser, smudge, blur and burn tool. Curves were also altered and so were the Levels. Positioning her was interesting because there were many areas that I could have placed her, but the one that she is in now was the one where she looked most natural.
Midterm Composition #1
The background for this image comes from my friend's camera. He calls himself a "landscape photographer" because he has a fancy camera. Nonetheless, I liked how modern it looks which is when the dinosaur came into place. Obviously, I did not take a picture of the dinosaur, I found it on the computer on some random website. The girl that looks scared of the monster is a friend of a friend. Her picture comes directly from Facebook. The tools I used for this were eraser (a lot of eraser) the magic wand tool on my subjects and the blur and smudge tool.
